With dd1 I got AF back at 3 months
With DD2 I got my first AF when she was 5 months , it was normal . I calculated when the next should be and I had symptoms a week before it should have arrived and a week after , I am still having a bit of cramping every now and then ,its been 40 days and no second AF ?

Yeah I would say that it's in the realms of normal. I didn't get mine back after Moo until he was a year old, and then it was regular. However a lot of my friends had it come back much earlier but was sporadic for awhile.
For me AF came back at 8 months postpartum and DD was exclusively breastfed, I do remember crampiness about a month prior. I had one/two odd periods after that then they were clockwork.
my cycles are irregular since having kids. the shortest was 18 days, longest was 62 days :(
So since then I had a second AF about 2 months ago as now nothing .
During the months I have signs and symptoms of ovulation , just like I normally would . And then whej I calculate AF would be due after "ovulation " I get AF signs ,all the signs I normally get but no AF :/
I couldn't have ovulated of I don't get a real period right ?
In so confused right now and it's all really messing with my body , my body is all over the place :/
Anyone ? :/
