New baby forms and pre filling out
I filled out the centrelink forms on-line pre-baby. The forms asked for estimated date of birth. I wrote something similar to 14th Feb.
I am now filling out paper forms and it says was baby born on the date you submitted previously? If not, you have to resubmit all financial information.
Is there any leeway provided, or if you do not guess the birth date correctly the first time do you have to fill in all the details again??
Thanks
Re: New baby forms and pre filling out
Are you talking about the PPL and Medicare form? I didn't read that.... I filled mine out yesterday. Cr@p, I hope I didn't fill it out wrong! I really need my PPL to kick in in the next few weeks...
That sounds really weird though, because only a very small percentage of people would know the date their baby will be born.
Re: New baby forms and pre filling out
i am applying for baby bonus, so you might not have had to do this bit.
Q60. "Is the date of birth of your newborn child child the same as the expected date of birth you provided in your previous claim for Baby bonus?
NO - We will need to reassess your income to check your eligibility before we can process your payment.
YES - Go to Q65" (skip all the income details)
Re: New baby forms and pre filling out
If bub wasn't born on EDD, the six month estimate needs to be checked again. So yeah, you need to fill it in
Re: New baby forms and pre filling out
Oh, ok that makes sense. That sucks that you have to do all that again!
Re: New baby forms and pre filling out
what a waste of time doing it all online.
thanks, bg
