So....

We finally got a home!!!! Wooooo we move tomorrow eeek

But This RE is being a real cow. As per our lease we have to have the home clean clearly that's common sense and have the carpets cleaned
BUT she has now sent us a letter telling us we NEED to have the Drapes professionally cleaned or dry cleaned as well as the wheelie bin!!! Is she freakin serious!! They wernt done when we moved in and it sure as hell isn't in our lease agreement *sigh* man I don't like to think bad things of people but she is really making me start wishing bad on her!

If it's not in your lease agreement that they be professionally cleaned fight it.

As for the cleaning of the blinds, what does the condition report say about me? Does it say there were even curtains there? If so, does it say they're clean etc? Can you just wash them in the machine?

The wheelie bin is stupid but at least that's easy to do, just chuck some detergent in and hose it down ;) haha

Congrats on the new house! She can't make you clean them, only the carpets. everything as is usually as you found it when moving.

thanks everyone. Yep theres nothing in our lease about either of them. And they were filthy when we moved in still had sticky tape and streamers on them ect. Pfft she can bite me. I took like 400 photos and documented everything so im good there.Its more just another hassle she is causing us which isn't needed. Can not wait to be rid of her
