Kinetic Sand

I am thinking of buying the twins (4) some kinetic sand for Christmas.

Is 1 kg of sand enough for 2 or more children or would you recommend more?

Also, do your children actually play with it? Has the novelty worn off? Is it as good as the recommendations?

I recommend getting 5kg as 1kg when building stuff does not go far.
My girls love it & I love it as well.
It's easy to clean up & for us it was worth $$ :)

THere are instructions online on how to make your own!! I haven't tried it yet but the 'recipe' is very simple to follow!

I would get 5kg. We have 1kg and I don't think it's enough, our two are always taking each others! Novelty has not worn off here. My boys ask to play with it all day every day!

We have 5kg and we have only actually opened 1 of the bags and only actually used half of one of the bags. My kids don't really play with it much but may also be me as hassle to get it out and pack up!!!

We had 1kg, just ordered 5kg though! Used daily, well worth it.
