Nursery renovations - wardrobe doors

Hey everyone, looking for some creative input.
We have painted our nursery a warm grey with white edges and ceiling.
I will accessories with pink or blue bubs is here (we don't know what we are having)
The room has ugly wooden wardrobe doors, and we don't want to replace the actual door.
Looking for low cost options & creative options.
We painted the doors in the other room white and they just look crap! Haha
Any idea's?

We removed the doors and hung curtains - we matched them to the window curtains.

Yep I hung curtains too in one of our rooms, it also gives you more space because you dont have a door swinging out anymore.

I know you said painting them looked crap buuuuut could you paint them and then add a nice wall decal? Might just take away from that painted look?
