DD is 13 months old and on most mornings her pyjamas are wet/damp from wee. it's always the front of her because she sleeps on her tummy. It's not enough to soak through her sleeping bag, but I have to change her straight away. She doesn't feed or wake overnight and her last bottle is at 6:30 with bed time at about 7:30-45. I even use nappies that are 13-18 kg (they fit well despite) and she would be around 10-11 kg. Anyone else had this? I hate the thought of her sleeping in wee :(
hmm... don't know. usually when my little guy starts wetting through its bc he needs to go up in size (he still feeds overnight though). I'm assuming you change her right before bed, at 7.30pm?
Yeah, she has a bottle about 6;30 then a bath then nappy and pj's at 7:30. Can't work out where all the wee is coming from!? her bottle is about 180 mls, so not huge. Plus she only has two bottles a day and a sippy cup of milk in the arvo which she never finishes. It's driving me nuts :(
on the flip side - she's well hydrated! ; )
Haha yeah I guess :) maybe I'll just buy expensive nappies for nights. Which I really can't afford!
that might be an idea. I use the expensive ones. I did try some others, but he soaked through both times I used them. and that was just for an arvo nap. :-/

Could it simply be because her nappies are too big? Is the nappy super-heavy when she wakes up, or is it just leaking?
I use wool nappy covers overnight. Any leaking gets sucked up by the wool ( wool can absorb 30% of its weight in fluid) and evaporates while the baby is wearing it. Wool nappy covers cost about $45 but at her age this would last you through till baby is out of night nappies unlike buying more nappies for the next 12-18mths. To clean it just pop it in the sun, no need to wash as the wool naturally sanitises itself and the sun helps that too!
Try boy ones, seeing as apparently they're the only ones to pee out the front :rolleyes:
I have heard of people using pads in the nappy for extra soakingupness (hmm I suspect that's not a real word lol)

You have my sympathy. I have a super wee-er. I used to have to change him at midnight :( It became so routine that he wouldn't even wake. I've only ever used Huggies and they just weren't a match for him. Some kids just wee a lot.
