DD (3y 4m) has been screaming for over an hour. Because we decided it was bedtime because her behavior was clearly showing she was tired. I sat with her for the first 40 minutes but there is only so much I can take. Her constant tantrums are driving me insane.
Our DS is the same age. I totally understand the tantrums, wowsers they are good, my current tactic is to give in because I can't take it!
DH reckons that's why she does it. I give in too easily. I don't think I do. I just pick my battles. I'm losing the bedtime battle though. I have to keep reminding myself that her strength and sense of self and decisiveness are fantastic personality traits for when she's older.
Big hugs :hug: I hope she has gone to sleep. I like your way of thinking on the personality traits of toddlers, need to try that on my own!

She's asleep. She went to sleep not long after I posted. I had a good cry. So over it.
