Re: Help! Save my stash!!
My only advice is to wash them in nappysan or similar and hang out at night time and leave out for a couple days so the sun kills the spores.
I don't remember having a problem when my girls were in nappies but we took the nappy off and placed it in a nappy bucket with water & nappysan or whatever it was we used. If the nappy was dirty we rinsed then put in the bucket.
I washed everyday and just tipped the bucket into the machine, added water and detergent and did a normal wash.
This was in the days of flat nappies
Sorry, no other ideas
Re: Help! Save my stash!!
Were you able to get your nappies clean?
Re: Help! Save my stash!!

Re: Help! Save my stash!!
Clove oil diluted in water? Might need to do the bucket too and do a machine clean?
Re: Help! Save my stash!!
Vinegar + tea tree oil cleans mildew off windows etc. Might be worth a try.
Re: Help! Save my stash!!
You need to kill the spores. Clive oil should do it. An acidic condition will also inhibit growth, but not great for your elastics. Maybe a sprinkle of citric acid in the bottom of your nappy bin?
Re: Help! Save my stash!!
Ok, so no more growth, but I can still smell dirt...so think there are still spores. Half of my boosters didn't survive though, they have just disintegrated =(
