Yes you definitely can get a - on an OPK even when you're Oing. Some women never get a true + at all, but they know that they O! Are you doing it at the right time, limiting your fluid intake etc etc? I would say that CM and CP are great indicators, the OPKs and MB are just good confirmation. Having said that, I absolutely rely on OPKs to tell me when I'm Oing, and I used a MB as well. Of course the only way you can know is by the thermal shift....but of course it's then too late! So just BD heaps, just in case! Good luck :)
I never get what is considered a true positive on my opks..always a much lighter line but it goes for 4 days then goes away. I got pregnant in August using this method and the kit line was no where near as dark. Same as this time..wil wait and see if it worked in 2 weeks though.
