Rachael,
After Olivia weaned it was about a month.
After Charlie weaned it was a month too, but I had really SORE boobs too......(turns out I was pg with Lexie!)
I've been pregnant, so not entirely normal I guess, but my boobs about 2-3 weeks after Jenna was weaned went really saggy and soft, and didn't hurt too much anymore.
In the last 2-3 weeks I have noticed them getting a little firmer, liek I might be making a little booby stuff again.
Apparently it takes a year or so after you wean your youngest for them to go firm again, but having not been in that situation, I'm hoping its all that easy!!
rayray....
Prior to falling preg with Maddy in my late teens early 20's... Many of my friends & their DP's used to comment that I had award winning breasts, they were always perky, pert, they've always been a C cup. A few of my girlfriends ysed to say I should be a lingerie model (well boobs only) as I had what was classed (to them) as the perfect set...
Whilst preg with maddy I still got comments on my breasts til the last 3ish months they ballooned to a GG cup!
I didnt feed Maddy (other than a full 7 days!) & they have never been the same again, more like mandarines in a stocking!
I then was in G cups during Indah's pregnany & still feeding twixe a day, I am certain my model boobs are gone forever!!!!!
Good luck with yours!!!
yeah, but I still seem have have milk?? Is this normal? I would have thought it would be gone by now................
One girl I know had her last baby 4 years ago and she can still squeeze a bit of milk out. I think that she is a bit extreme but its probably fairly normal to still have some milk 4 months later.
Thanks. Thats good to hear, I was starting to get a bit worried.
My aunt's youngest is 12 yrs old & when babies cry she feels let down & still can squeeze milk out.....
I still could squeeze a little milk out from the time I stopped nursing my first until I started nursing my second - about 2 years difference. Never leaked or anything, and everything felt pretty normal (although the boobs are softer than they used to be) but the milk was always there.
