ceasarean or natural birth

Hi ,

I am intrested to find out your preferences of C/S or Natural birth....and why ?

Some of my friends swear by the C/S.:hello:

I personally would never opt for a c/s. I have a phobia of needles & would no way cope with having a epidural or spinal block. I also don't think I wouls handle the idea of surgery very well either.
But other then that, I still wouldn't want a c/s. Its my understanding that healing time/recovery is longer after a c/s. After a vag birth you are up & about alot faster & able to do things easier with your new baby.

I personally wouldn't opt for major surgery unless it was medically necessary, in which case I'd be fine with it.
