fertility clinics melb
hi all, just wondering of any fertility clinics in melb that do not have a huge waiting list!!! have just been diagnosed with bilateral polycystic ovaries and DH has low sperm mobility. however that being said we conceived our DS after 3 months of TTc (so i am now very frustrated after TTC No2 for 15 cycles!!) anyway i have just been referred to a gyno close to home but i cant get in to march 07!! i am an hour east of melbourne and would happily travel to see a great clinic that doesnt have a 4 month waiting list and specilaises in fertility issues around melbourne. Does anyone have any ideas, thank you very much from someone who obviosly doesnt have much patience!!!

Hi there, I wasn't aware of any wait for the clinics as such. Only for the specialists sometimes who operate from those clinics. I had to wait six months to see mine initially but once in, we started treatment right away. Is your specialist affiliated with one of the clinics?
I was at Melbourne IVF.

hi melbo, no i am only referred to our local town gyno from my regular gp, so i am impatient and thinking it might be best to just go to a fertility clinic and get on top of this matter. i'm worried that as he is not a specialist in fertility that my TTC journey will just go on and on...... i am not wanting too large of a gap between No1 and No2, thanks for your reply

Might be an idea to ring the clinics and have a chat because they could give you better info than I. Their information would be current and they might know more about waiting times for the doctors.
Good luck! Let us know how you get on.
