Fertility Specialist in Melbourne

I guys, I am new to your thread! I'm here for some help. I lost my little boy ~Lachlan~ due to Antiphospholipid Syndrome(APS) (high levels) and am now having trouble falling pregnant. I have decided to take some action and find myself a fertility specialist in Melbourne. As you guys probably know more than any of my local GP's I thought I could get some reccomendations in here to take to a GP to write a referral.
So if anyone knows of a great fertility specialist in Melbourne I would be so happy to hear from you. Probably not so much the IVF road as yet, I was thinking maybe AI or drugs first.
I'm in the SE Suburbs but don't mind travelling to get the best!

Lachlansmum,

Nick Lolatgis (who is this site fertilty specialist) is the one I see. He does do IVF, but also other stuff as well. In fact, under him, I have not done IVF - just a specific drug regime to assist natural conception (this followed 3 failed IVF cycles under another dr and clinic).

He is locate at Epworth in Richmond and Clayton Pte surgical hosptial in Clayton. His details will be listed on this site.

And he tested me for APS when I kept having recurrent m/c, so he does know about that side of things too.

Hi Lachlan's mum. I can't help you with your question, but wanted to say poor you! I too lost my little Connor earlier this year, he was 2 weeks old. He was born at 24 weeks gestation. We thought he would be ok after the first few days, and then all of a sudden he let go. So I have a bit of an understanding about how you are feeling. We are also trying to get pregnant again and I was thinking today about looking at some fertility options for a bit of a nudge. Hope you get preg soon. Keep us posted.
