Iam not sure

This is our first month TTC. I am pretty sure I ovulate between day 12-14 of my cycle. I came off pill in June and have had regular 29-30 day cycles. We BD'd on day 11 and then day 14 and 16 (but DP did not ejaculate on day 14 or 16). Since we BD'd I have had period pain. I normally get a day or two of ovulation pain but this has now continued for 8 days. I am not sure I can be pregnant as we BD'd too early in cycle.

What does everyone think? Can I just be getting sick? Weird.....(PS: I am not getting my hopes up!)

Hi Jenny - if you o'd on Cd 12, then there is a chance you could have caught the egg. I'm pretty sure that I've read that some sperm can survive for up to 5 days. (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) So maybe you could be pregnant. Have you thought of charting at all?

I purchased a Maybe Baby and had difficulty getting any accurate reading on the thing! However, I did get ferning at day 12 and 13 two cycles ago. I think I am going to have to wait and see! Thanks for your reply!

like jazmum said you would still have a chance at being being pg if you bd on day 11 and you O'd on day 14 since sperm can survive for up to 5 days in "friendly" cm but I am pretty sure that the average is more like 2-3 days so you could still be in with a chance, good luck :D
