safety rules for frozen food..

I froze some pureed vegs and then unfroze to mix with meat then froze again.. then realised it may be unsafe for bub to eat?
can anyone tell me if its ok to refreeze veges

Sorry i don't know, but if it was me i would thorw them out, i only freeze once.

its the same with any frozen food. once its thawed, cannot be refrozen...

Yep i agree, only freeze once.

I'm going against the grain. I read something that said it is ok to refreeze food so long as it has been defrosting in the fridge. So if you took it out in the morning and shoved it in the fridge then that night put it back in the freezer - it would be ok.

But I'm still a freeze once only girl too ;)

I wouldnt refreeze meat after it has been thawed.
I thought it was ok to refreeze veggies though.
