Has anyone had an older child attend a caesarean?

I've just been asked if I'm planning for my 10yr old daughter to be present if I have a caesarean. Has anyone already done the research on this question?

i wonder this myself, but my child is only four and as much as he wants to be there in the room with me, i dont know if he might freak out or not. a planned ceasarian is quite peaceful so it would be great if your girl could be there.
