Ideas of things to do.

Hi all,
My Df is on holidays and I want some ideas of things we can do to get out of the house with a 3 month old. We do the usual things like go for a walk or to the shops but what are some bigger things to do? All I could come up with was go to the botanical gardens for a picnic. Any ideas? We live in melbourne.

Depends... we used to do things like go for hikes & walks which were the easiest with having a baby who may sleep in the pram... trips to museums and such were okay as long as she was asleep.

We also did things like go to the zoo and stuff... anything where she could be pushed around & we would be walking without massive amounts of stimulation was great. The beach was good fun too but we bought a cancer council tent for the beach.

Thanks girls, I esp love the drive in idea cause then we can all go together.
She does fall asleep in the pram usually so anywhere we can take it is great.
