So Worried!
I am SO very worried!! I am just over 5 weeks and most of my symptoms (not that I had too many to start with) are diminishing and I have an achy belly to boot. Am worried and really very concerned that my pregnancy isn't going the way it should be. I rang the doctor to get in to see in with regards to my aching back (which hasn't helped) and as soon as I walked into her surgery I started bawling!! Don't know why, I think I am just so worried that this isn't going as planned. Did any of you other ladies have the same worries as me? My belly is even a little bit tender just above my pubic bone. I asked her what my HCG levels were with my previous blood test was and it was 125 at just 4 weeks. Does that sound normal or is it too low? I had another BT today and with have another on Thurs to see if the levels are doubling. I am just beside myself, am not going to work tonight :frown:

Hi Neatisme. I'm sorry I can't answer your questions but I wanted to pop in and say that I really hope all is OK for you and your little one and I have everything crossed that your BT results will be just the news you needed to relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

Angelgirl: Thanks so much for your comments. I think that is what I really need to do, "RELAX", I am just worrying so much!
Saltprincess:Thank you SO VERY MUCH for posting the HCG levels. Looking at it I spose I am within the normal range. It is just that I am sick of having and ache in my stomach. Most of the time I am fine, it is mainly at work when I start to overdo it with lifting things I think. I am delegating other to do stuff for me, but sometimes that just isn't possible. You are so right in saying their is no solution for us and our worries. It seems that I always worry about everything I have absolutely no control over. Have to learn to relax. I will go and have another BT on Thurs afternoon and I think I will wait to ring the doctor on Fri so that we can see if the numbers have doubled or not. Fingers crossed. Hopefully I am worring over nothing. I hope that everything goes fantastic for you as well and that we can look back in 8 months time and say to each other "what the hell were we worrying about". Thanks so much.

Hey Anita, please, please try not to stress about this. I don't have many symptoms yet either and what i do have come and go. And the cramping is normal too - our uterus has to grow so big to be able to accomodate our babies that it feels like it is cramping when it is really stretching. I know this is a worrying time for you, but I know everything will be OK.

Hi Anita! I'm sure everything is fine!
I agree with Sherie - I get a achy/crampy tummy almost for the whole 1st tri with everything growing and stretching.
Good Luck!

Hi Anita, We all worry but the important thing is to look after yourself and this means managing your stress and being kind to yourself too!
BTW - my GP said not to worry about the actual numbers (apparently they go up unevenly and the whole doubling thing is a bit of a furphy) but your doc will tell you whether the rise has been high enough or not.
And yes I've been having cramps too, but I know to expect it as a normal symptom based on my first PG.
((hugs))
