Pain relief

Hi,

I'm asking on behalf of my SIL (20 wks) who is suffering really bad back pain. Her preggy brain has kicked into gear and she can't remember what pain relief her ob said she could take. She thinks he may have said Panadine forte. Does that sound right? Would that be ok for her to take?

It should be Bron. Paracetamol is alright and Panadeine Forte is basically strong pracetamol. She should double check with her chemist.

Has she tried heatpacks? I've had unbelievable back pain today (I have a bulging disc) and the heat pack has been working miracles for me.

I suffered really bad lower back pain and found that a bath was fantastic and heat packs as well.

P.S. Enjoy the bath whilst you can!

Panadine forte is ok to use in pregnancy. Just remember no more than 8 tabs in any 24 hours
