Results of my ultrasound (no AF post BCP 7 mths)

Hi all,

Well yesterday was my ultrasound... I had an exterior and interior ultrasound (hmm fun) and the good news is that everything is normal :D

So ovaries look fine, ruling out PCOS. Apparently follicles look fine so I should be producing eggs.
At my Dr's appt later that day we went over all my bloodwork again and all of that is also normal. So her next questions was "Where would you like to go from here?" and I'm thinking "Well I'd just like to get my PERIOD please". lol.

So it's off to the gyno on Feb 7 (yay for private health ins and not waiting til April via public!).
Hopefully he'll be able to advise me on whether I am ovulating even though I'm not getting AF (Dr couldn't tell me) and what the situation is if I am not ovulating. I'm hoping that he won't say "Oh you're still young, just wait another 6 mths and come back then" - because it's MY body and MY right to get pregnant when I want too!!!

DH and I have decided that July is the time we'll start to actively TTC. Fingers crossed the gyno has some good answers to all my questions!!

Thats good news... Lucky you getting in so quick i hope all goes well.. Its good you want to start ttc in a few mths time and not now so by then you will have had periods naturally or with a little help.. All the best...

Internal u/s fun hey i had one with pg not pleasant until you see bubbas heartbeat then all was ok pity the next u/s wasnt as good...

Sounds like you have it all down pat to get things ready for ttc. I hope that the gyno can give you a reason why you are not having af. Good luck with it all, I hope it all works out for you soon.
