TTC#2 soon

Our DS is 6 months and we are starting to think about trying for a second baby. I've been on the mini pill since he was 6 weeks because my cycle returned straight away. I was just wondering if I need to be off it for three months and taking folic acid before we start trying again. I would like to take the folic acid for three months but am not sure about the mini pill.
