Chicken

Hi all,

Just want some thoughts on roast chickens from chicken shops and delis (cooked chicken). Is it ok to have this?

Yes! Provided it is hot and fresh and you keep it hot and eat it straightaway it's fine.

I have a listeria brochure that says you can store it in the fridge and use it cold within a day of purchase. It's listed as one of the 'safter alternatives' to cold deli meats.

Yes, but I always cast a careful eye over the salady bits they put in before ordering something like a kebab or burger! :)
