non homogensided milk
Hi all
I bought some organic youghurt the other day and have had a few spoon fulls so far and just put a heap on my grapes and had a mouth full when I thought I would read the label. It says that the milk used is non homogenised. Is this is problem when pregnant?
TIA
Ooooooohhhhhh I hope it is OK to eat or else I will be stressing big time not to mention that the youghurt is so yummy.
Excuse the spelling mistake in the thread title - dont know how to fix it LOL!!!

nah non-homiginised is safe and way healthier than hominigised. google it;)
and yoghurt is made (cultured) totally different to milk aswell so it would matter even less i think.

Homogenised is when they mix it so that the cream and milk don't seperate. If they don't do that the cream rises to the top and seperates from the milk (that's what skim milk is).
Pasteurised is when they raise the temprature really fast to kill germs. That's the important one because unpasteurised milk might have nasties in it.
Soooo, I don't think you need worry.
