Howdy All,
I am so confused and depressed at the moment.
My first cycle of Clomid 50mg didn't work. So I have taken Provera to bring on AF. Today is the 7th day after the last tablet of Provera. Yesterday I thought AF had arrived, it was light though. But today - NOTHING!! Except of course the cramping, which has been around for about a week now.
Could yesterday have just been spotting? and is this normal?
I really just think that I am going crazy now.

Oh sammy, so sorry things aren't going along as they ought to. So frustrating. I can't speak from experience, but I hope someone can answer your query for you and ease your concerns. There is a light at the end of this seemingly long tunnel! Chin up

Sammy, I don't want to get your hopes up but definately do a HPT tomorrow!
That happened to me when I was TTC#1 and it turned out I had O'd later than was expected with the first cycle of clomid and I was pregnant! I had spotting and rang the clinic who told me that any kind of a bleed was considered CD1, but by "CD5" when i was due to start clomid for the second cycle I still didn't feel right about it and I did a HPT and it was a BFP!

So you had taken Provera to bring on an AF and you were actually pregnant??
ANd everything was OK. BEcause I was thinking that might be the case and have read that you shouldn't take Provera if you are pregnant.

Hi Sammy, yes thats right. I took 7 days of provera when I was pregnant but I didn't know I was. It didn't do any harm. I think the risk of taking progesterone is later in the pregnancy (12 or so weeks I think) as it can cause genital defects. But taken in the first few weeks isn't so bad. Well, my beautiful little clomid baby is now 20 months old and is fit as a fiddle!! Absolutely perfect in every way!! Have you got a HPT? When will you test????!

I received some HPT from Lullaby Conceptions when I bought some preseed and just did a test when I got home from work....but BFN.
But I thought I would do a test again on Friday morning and then call my Dr and ask him what was going on...because Saturday would have been Day 5 if yesterdays AF (or whatever it was) was Day 1 - and I am meant to be taking the Clomid on Days 5-9.
So maybe he will say to start the 100mg Clomid on Saturday anyway...unless of course Friday morning's test is a BFP?
How long have you been trying for bubba #2?

Bummer about BFN but try on Friday with FMU.
We've been trying for #2 for 6 months now on clomid which is really disapointing since I fell pg first clomid cycle when TTC#1:( I don't know why it isn't working this time. Except I know we don't get as much BD time these days with our LO and DH working nights! But for the past 2 cycles I haven't O'd at all so I'm getting really down about it. I don't know if my gyno/ob will up the dose this time or what.
It could be too early to tell with you? Like i said before, i was supposedly on CD5 when I did a hpt. That would've been about 3 weeks after I O'd. What day did you have BT done? When I've had CD21 BTs it didn't pick up O, but CD24 BTs did which means I O on clomid around CD17.
Anyway, good luck!! make sure you let me know!! I'll be thinking of you!! I've got to have BT done on friday to check for O but I'm sure I didn't this time as I have been temping and using OPKs.
I hope that you get your BFP soon. I know what you mean about being down about not O'ing. ANd I have only not O'd on one cycle so far (at least I don't think I did). That is another thing that gets me down - the not knowing!
I had a BT on CD 21 and that was progesterone 1.0 and then I had another one on CD26 and that was progesterone 2.1. But on CD31 I had a lot of EWCM - very strange.
I took the Provera on CD 35 to CD 44.
Today is 8 days after the last Provera tablet and still no more bleeding of any kind.
But today I have really bad stomach cramps - and I have had them since 4am this morning - and really feel sick :(
Make sure you let me know how your BT goes on Friday?

Your symptoms sound promising... I'm really :pray: for you that you get a BFP in a couple of days!!! It's almost identical to my story TTC#1!!

Just a quick update...just got AF....which I guess is a good thing because now I can start my second cycle of Clomid.
Oh Sammy sorry that it wasn't a BFP, but at least you can get started on a whole new ovulating :crossfingers: cycle!!!
hmmm...another update from me.....bleeding stopped again last night. So I had bleeding during the day and then absolutely nothing at night and so far nothing today. I seriously have no idea what is going on. I have called my Dr and left a message for him to call me back.

Spoke to my Dr yesterday and he said to count Tuesday as Day 1 so that means today is Day 5 so starting 100mg of Clomid tonight :)
LG, how did your BT go yesterday?
