Was looking at my stomach yestrday and noticed I still have one..this is 13 months after giving birth..anyone else still got theirs..?? or should I go buy a pregnancy test 8-[

Katanya, I was wondering the other day does the linea nigra ever dissapear? I know I`m only 6 weeks post birth but it`s so dark and so is my stomach and belly button.

Sorry can`t help you but would be interested to know if anyone knows is it for keeps or does it eventually fade.

Mine wasn't very dark to start with, but I had it for around 4-5 months afterwards... :-k actually it went away around 1 month after finishing bf?

I'm not sure when mine dissapeared, but I think it was a while ago. Though it wasnt that dark to start with either.

I had one through my 1st pregnancy but not through my 2nd HOWEVER, got one AFTER giving birth 2nd time around and still have it months later.

I wonder if it does have something to do with continuing to BF because I would have hormones to produce the milk..?
