I wanted to know if this is normal...

i've finished my after birth bleeding, n now i have this really thick discharge - gooey like... almost like the look of the mucous plug...

is that normal n wat is it?

ummm I cant remember that far back ..I dont think I had this although I am sure it must be normal . Have you had your 6week check up yet?. Perhaps ask at that or give your Dr a call as I am sure they would not mind.

It's weird how fast you forget, but I vaguely remember getting all sorts of weird discharge afterwards... I do remember tho my Doctor saying that unless it had a vile odour, it is probably normal.

I'd go with what Anna said...sounds like something a doctor would say!
I'm pretty sure it's normal, but if it gets a lot heavier (or smells) then see your doctor.

I remember the discharge getting a bit stringy. I think it's all part of the healing process.

Like the others have said, see your Dr if it gets smelly.

Yes! I got this! I think mine lasted a couple of days and then I had a couple of days of "spotting" which was brown (like dried blood) which I posted about and lo and behold as soon as I posted about that it stopped too! ROFL.
Like the others said, I wouldn't worry about it unless their is an odour.
