Just a little whinge...
Geez, it's so rotten having a bad cold at this stage of pregnancy.
Not only can you not take anything for it but the constant sneezing and coughing is proving to me just how inadequate my pelvic floor is these days!
I haven't really whinged at all throughout this pregnancy up to now, but my poor DH is copping it at the moment. 8-[
Ah well, I suppose it's best to get this bug out of the way now rather than having it in a couple of weeks.

Oh you poor chook, I had the same thing with Paris its awful :( Have you tried strepsils with zinc, as far as I have been told they are safe with PG and can shorten the length of a cold. There's no ecchinacea or any of the other things you can't have.
Rest up! Hope you are feeling better soon!
*hugs*

How awful Layla, I really feel for you, I hope you get well quickly (I'm trying to send you some get well vibes). I did this huge sneeze the other day and it made me think I'd better get stuck into some pelvic floor exercises, although when I do them I don't even know if I'm doing them right, I follow the instructions in these books I have, but I just don't know. I know I'm doing something I just hope it's toning my pelvic floor LOLOL.

Layla - i know how you feel!! i woke through the night and my tonsils were so swollen, which is the first sign for me of a cold.

I really feel for you, I had the same thing a couple of months ago - it was the start of me wearing panty liners every day to cope with the sneezes you couldn't quite 'brace' against!
Good luck with getting rid of it soon, keep up those vitamin supplements.
