31 Weeks Pregnant with Period Pain/Upset Tummy Cramps?

Hi, I'm currently 31.5weeks pregnant. I know it's too early for these pains to mean early labour. But I was just wondering what you think they could be.
Since yesterday, I have had on and off, period pain / upset tummy pains. Last night they were starting to get really uncomfortable.
Sorry for adding this but I have been going to the loo a few times each day as well. So I don't know if it is just maybe something I have eaten.
I have a hospital appointment tomorrow, so I will ask the midwife about it then. But I was just hoping that I may be able to get some reassurance on BB.

It sounds like you are having BH contrations. However the loose bowels are a sigh that labour is not too far away. If your bowels are not loose (diarrhoea) then frequent visits to the toilet is probably caused by your baby moving down into your pelvis. But as you say it could be something that you have eaten. Check with your midwife tomorrow

Thanks Alan, I thought it should be nothing to worry about, but of course you start too:rolleyes: I thought the pains may be BH, I can't remember them being that painfull with DD, but I guess each pregnancy is differnt. Hopefully I'll get confirmation tomorrow it is nothing. Thanks again.

OMG, this sounds familar. I agree with Alan, it must be BH. I know that with each pregnancy they become more and more painful. It's hard not to stress as you are not sure if you are going into labour early or if it's nothing. Check with your midwife, otherwise a trip to hospital to be monitored doesnt hurt. Let me know how you go and take it easy.:rolleyes:

Me too i am 35 weeks and having the same loose bowel movements and sometimes a few times a day .... last ngiht i had bad period pain and then follwed by upset tummy cramps only happened once and then was ok...
