I am hopeless!!!!!!!!!
Hi guys,
I am so useless at all of this!!!!!!!!!!!! I am charting on FF only started in April though. FF said I o'd on CD 14 I am now on cd 16 & don't even look like O'ing. I do not seem to have alot of CM & DH & i have been bd ing a fair bit so when I have had CM is has always been like EW. My cervix is currently high & open from what I can gather anywa, medium does not seem to be any different, anyway I am so confused & think when AF arrives I going to stop charting & stop reading in here for a while and see how I go. Can anyone tell me what they think of my chart, I know about not o'ing & all of that maybe that is what this cycle is. You know we try for so long not too get pg then it take so long to fall, makes no sense really.
Thanks for listening to my whinging
Herbie

Hi Herbie
It doesn't look like you've O'd yet but that's ok you're probably close. Just because you O'd on day 14 last month it doesn't mean it will/should have been day 14 this month - I have really regular cycles and I find I O anywhere between day 15 and day 19, it's definitely not the same day every month.
If you're finding it confusing I would ditch the CP monitoring for now. Cervical position is a secondary fertility sign (ie. you use it to confirm what you already know basically) and it will just confuse you further if your not sure what's going on anyway.
The most important thing to master is identifying what your CM is doing and getting the temps right. Once you get the hang of that reintroduce the cervical position thing. I have used charting for many years successfully and I've never bothered with CP, I don't think it's essential.
The other thing I'd suggest is to get hold of a book called "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. This is the charting bible and it explains every thing you need to know very clearly.
It will probably take you about three or four cycles to get a clear idea of what's happening and for everything to fall in to place.
Hang in there though, you're doing well and once you get the hang of it, charting is well worth the effort.
Good luck :)

Hi Herbie,
It took me a few cycles to get into the hang of charting and CM and all that. And I was ready to give up in the first month too because i thought it was driving me too mental but then I calmed down about it and I actually enjoy it now.
Good Luck
SAM :)

Hi Guys,
Thanks so much for your help and encouragement. I never temp the same time of a weekend cause never wake early enough but always temp after longest amount of rest. My cm gives really P's me off cause I seem not to have alot of it, sorry for TMI. Tonight I have had a little seems watery with little bit of white through it (curdled) would you call that watery or egg white, confused & again sorry for TMI. Anyway I will see how I go & might just have aspell from it & try not too stress out too much, anyway off to bed now will chat later. Had a huge rise today, from 36.4 to 36.9. DH on night shift so no BDing tonight, oh well.
Thanks again
