8mnth old on the go.
Hi
DS is 8 mnths , an absolute little treasure, but he is on the go 24/7. the only time he is not moving around, creating havoc, climbig on everything, is when he is asleep, and thank goodness he has good sleeps, morning and arvo..
Yest i was at the hairdressers and there was little girl who was 9mnths and she sat in the pram and just wtched her mum getting hair done for like 1.5hrs, wow i envy this, no way would DS sit in the pram happily for this amnt of time.
I am worried DS is a bit hypo- hoping its normal behaviour that he wont stay still.

Nina is the same as the 9 mth old girl you mentioned, will happily sit there and watch what is going on. But I have a few friends, who have both girls and boys, and they are full on as well. I don't think it's a hypo, it's just their personality. I have friends staying with us ATM who have a 2.5 yr old, he was always full on, and is definitely full on now. Doesn't mean they'll be this way forever. You're lucky he's sleeping during the day. A girlfriend of mine has a full on 12 month old boy who doesn't sleep whatsoever during the day, but sleeps all night.

Hi, my DS sounds like yours!
He is crawling and into everything! He pulls things of the coffee table, opens cabinet doors.. i cant turn my back.. When DD was a baby i never had any of these problems..!! Such different kids!!

Out of my 3 only Mason was content to sit in the pram for an extended length of time.

Lexie is, thank goodness, the placid little chook who will quite happily sit for hours in a pram as peaceful as anything..............but Charlie was a HORROR at this age.......a danger to himself and to my sanity...........he is still full on now, but not hypo I don't think.....just a typical toddler.......

Yeah, both my boys are like your DS. I'm not sure what we did karma-wise, but I guess we just weren't meant to have the easy ones LOL!! It is normal, and it might improve a little (Jack can play by himself now for quite a while), but I think they will always be active!

I have another adventurer not an observer. Though, that other mum may have been envious if you having such an inquisitive and bright child.....just a thought.

Oh yep I've got one of those.
My DD was like that little girl - she'd sit in the pram for hours without a peep, you could put her down anywhere and she'd actually stay there.....
I wasn't prepared for an active little boy. Yesterday I put him in the middle of the bed, turned my back for TWO seconds and turned around to see him launching head first off the bed onto the floor! He was fine thank god but I don't know if I can keep up with a little boy
