I've been having very weak peppermint tea to help with morning sickness. Ginger tea is good for this too.

Is it safe to drink herbal teas during pregnancy?
Probably, but be careful. Many women avoid all drugs during pregnancy, including caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, and prescription and over-the-counter medicines, but then think nothing of drinking cup after cup of herbal tea.
Certain herbal teas can be very beneficial in pregnancy and may help to alleviate some of the symptoms of pregnancy. Many women find that small amounts of ginger tea can help with morning sickness, while peppermint tea can ease heartburn and indigestion. Slippery elm or meadowsweet tea may also aid digestion. However, it is always a good idea to drink herbal teas in moderation.
Generally speaking, any herb which is considered fine for food use is presumed to be safe for teas as well. Look on packaging labels for contents that may normally be part of your diet (such as mint, lemon or orange extracts). All herbal preparations which are bought as tea bags from the supermarket are thought to be safe for use in pregnancy. You can also buy herbal tea blends specifically made for drinking when you are pregnant.
It is important to steer clear of unfamiliar ingredients (such as black cohosh, pennyroyal, and mugwort, all best avoided during pregnancy). Other herbs to avoid in pregnancy include celery, parsley and sage (the latter should also be avoided if you are breastfeeding, as it may reduce milk supply). Never make a tea from any plant in your own garden, unless you're 100 per cent sure what it is and that you can safely take it while you're pregnant. If you are in any doubt as to the safety of what you are drinking, look at our chart of herbs to avoid in pregnancy or contact a medical herbalist who is registered with the National Institute of Medical Herbalists.
I was told peppermint tea was fine to have while pg, i drank it throughout my pregnancy.
green tea - and i know its not a herbal tea - is usually advised against as it lowers blood pressure
Green tea also has caffeine in it. Everyone offers me green tea as an alternative to 'normal' tea coz they know I'm not having caffeine, and I have to tell them it's caffeinated! hehe.
Oh my Dr told me not to have peppermint tea cause it is used to relax muscles and could relax the wrong muscles and interfer with the pregnancy. Yeah I don't like green tea anyways!! Lol.....
i drink peppermint tea all the time as well as mixture of other ones eg green, cinamon, rose-hip, etc but something I do is make sure they are the caffinee free ones :)!
happy herbal tea drinking!!
I've had terrible heart burn or more acid throat reflux so have started drinking peppermint tea which has worked wonders. I had a look on the internet before I started drinking it and all reports I read said it was safe.
I have camomille and peppermint tea - that's about all I have as I know these are safe.
