Best overnight disposables for girl toddler

Hello.

I know December asked a similar question re her DS but from what my friends with sons tell me, what works in the nappy department for boys, doesn't necessarily work for gals...

My 17 month old DD has woken through the night over the last few nights with an absolutely saturated nappy. We use snugglers which work fine during the day and up til now they were fine overnight as well. Her drinking habits haven't changed. But because she has been wetting through, she has developed a nappy rash. I actually think that the wee is hurting her and that is why she is waking. But she also manages to saturate her pjs so obviously it can't be comfortable regardless of the nappy rash. We are using hydozole cream to clear up the rash and zinc and castor oil for a barrier cream and hoping that the hydrozole starts to clear it up soon.

So what brands of disposable nappies do you think are the best for overnight for girls? I used to use Huggies when she was little but they have changed since she was a newborn and I haven't heard much that is positive about the new design.

I haven't had this problem with my DD but DS used to wet himself through all the time, even through Huggies! I found a product in Woolworths in their nappy aisle that were like plain menstrual pads, you just pulled the strip off the back, stuck the sticky bit in the nappy and away you go! These worked well as it's some extra absorbency which you can add in the area most needed.....in the front for boys or in the back for girls. They weren't overly expensive either. Just a thought!

I have a huge wetter, and I love the new Huggies designs.....I was given an older pack a while ago and they don't come up to par with the new ones.

Huggies or Aldi for sure... both no problems atm for us!

Huggies are the best I think, but currently we are using babylove and they are fine - they get very wet but they don't leak. Aldi nappies work well too, and the Coles and Woolies own brand nappies. So for us there are plenty of brands that are cheaper that seem to work well. Only ones for us that always leak are Snugglers - I have never had much luck with this brand with any of my kids, so I don't buy them anymore.

huggies i find are great i have used them for all 3 of my kids and have never had a problem. super absorbant and they have never had nappy rash. i found when i used other brands i had to change them more often.
