out of breath
hi
im 30 weeks now and i am soooo out of breath all the time. the walk from my car to the office knocks me out. its only about 1/2km. it makes me feel really nauseous and i just feel like i need to go back to bed for a bit haha. its taken me about an hour today to feel semi normal again. is this normal. i am carrying really high up at the moment which is getting a bit uncomfortable.

I got stairs in my office and I try to avoid them whenever possible!! I am down in the bottom level and the manager and other people are up the top so if I need to talk to them I wait until they come down stairs cause if I go up there, I am so puffed and can barely speak properly!

Yep same with me, due to having a little body squashed up against my lungs. Also due to your heart working much harder to pump all the extra blood around your body. Worse if you have low iron apparently.

and im exhausted all the time now. i feel like i could fall asleep standing up haha.

I was the same, Sarah. I remember posting a very similar question, LOL. Not long to go now - all the best for the rest of your pregnancies, girls!
ETA: Forgot to mention, some helpful people suggested to me that doing relaxation excersises can lessen the discomfort, though I remember if I walked up stairs I was cactus, relaxed or not

I had this too, not so long ago!! Some days were worse than others. I'm feelin your pain ;)

I had this too, but now it seems to have eased (baby moved down).
I fell asleep in the bath twice last week............

I'm 37 weeks and by baby's only dropped a little so I still feel the shortness of breath. I can hardly do anything without huffing and puffing.

yep - ditto - some days worse then others. I hate it if i have to rush to answer the phone, i feel so unfit, but, i cant get my breath to talk properly.
