Best potty for boy or advice how to stop escapee todger!

I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to stop Oscar's Willy escaping from his potty. It's like a pressurised firemans hose sometimes and goes everywhere! :cryinglaugh:

We've got a fairly cheap one from target but it has a high back and front so i though it would be ok but obviously not. I literally have to hold it in there sometimes and it's so disappointing for him when he's sat on his potty and weed but there's nothing in there as it's all gone out front.

if anyone can recommend a better potty or method i'd be thrilled.

is he too young to perhaps try the weeman toilet system where they stand and pee into it google just google weeman go to the .com.au page

Make sure it has a splashguard or is nice and high at the front.
I also told them to point the todger down (well in my house it's the doodle but I wanted to use that word!). They like to be in control of the plumbing and to put a little finger in it when it's doing it's thing brings a smile to the dial ;) and keeps the wee in the potty...hopefully!

Hmm I never had that problem, my son is determined to stand up! He just kinda 'hangs' it over the potty and off he goes;)
Such a man..LOL

Maybe teach him to hold it down!?

He wouldn't stand up as he wouldn't stand still for more than a microsecond so thats not an option yet. I will try and get him to hold it down though i think he's more likely to forget about weeing and just play with it!

I'm so excited though as he did a poo in the potty tonight! I couldn't believe it. Might have to post a woo-hoo for that!
