I'm dont know what it was after one week, but I do know after two weeks I had lost 12kg. (I went from 97kg at week 39, to 85kg 2 weeks after birth)
Bear in mind that I put 40kg on during my pg.
It has taken me another year after Aidyns birth to lose another 15, so I am now down to 70kg, with still some to go...
I put on about 17kg in total, and lost about 10 of that in the first week to 10 days. I haven't really lost any since (maybe just 2-3kg?), but things ae finally starting to tone up a little bit.
I put on about 12 kgs all together and lost it all within the first week!
In the last couple of years I have put some of the weight back on though!
Nic
I lost 10kg in the first 10 days :) I kept gradually loosing but when I finished bf months later I put on 6kg 8-[
thanks all for your replies. i guess it sounds like the average loss is about 10kg? and then i will have to work hard to lose the rest!!

I am no Elle MacPherson in the first place, so I only put on 5kg with my pregnancy with Olivia, and got on the scales 3 days after she was born and had already lost 12kg! She was the BEST "diet" I have ever been on. I then BF for around 6 months and lost (with little or no real effort) another 8kg..............
Please let it happen again!
I put on 11 kilos and i have lost 8kilos in 9 weeks.
I put on 22 kgs with my first - I started off at 50kgs and ended up at 72kgs. I'd lost it all within 2 weeks (wish it would happen this time) only problem was I kept loosing and ended up at 47kgs, way too thin.
Gained the same ammont with #2 and it took me 12 months to loose the whole lot of it.
#3 I only gaind 14 kgs and lost that all with in 2 weeks after my c section.
# gained 23 kgs and lost 13 kgs in the first 2 weeks and have since lost around 3 kilos more, still have quite a few to go though.
I swear breastfeeding is the best diet though. Helps get you back to your "normal" size.
Take care
Trish
thanks all,
lucy - that sounds great! you wouldnt have known yourself after you lost all that weight! wow. good for you,
Linda
Before pregnancy I put on a little bit of weight to prepare my body, not sure if I was 52kg or 54kg when I conceived, at 41 weeks pregnant I was 72kg, I lost 6kgs straight away and within 10 days I was down to 60kgs, but haven`t lost any since even though I feel like I have.
Just moving this thread to Your Body After Baby...
I put on 15kg during pg and lost 10kg two weeks after birth.
