here are many reasons for your heart rate to increase.
If you give me some more information I may be able to telll you why yours ha increased
Thanks for the reply. Its probably nothing ,but being a personal trainer, I'm pretty tuned in to such things :-) Its just been going faster every night and actually giving me trouble trying to get to sleep. I doubt it is pregnancy related as I'm only 8DPO so can't even do HPT yet, but just got me thinking....
PS I have a resting HR of 60 - 65bpm and have done for a long time (I check it a lot due to training). At night lately, been sitting on 90bpm or so..I also usually have low BP ( 90/60 is normal for me).
The only thing I can think of that may be causing this is excitement/anxiety about your possible pregnancy. The reason it is only happening at night is because you are les active and therefore have more time to think about pregnancy. Your normal pregnancy hormones can increase your heart rate but it is a little too early for that.
Hope this answers your question.
One of the ways i noticed that i was pregnant (like the day before i got my pos HPT), was my heart rate was about 40 points higher when i was on the cross trainer than it usually is.
I also felt the exercise a lot more, even though i suspected i was preg and wasn't working out so much.
My obs did tell me that when i do exercise, to keep my heart rate under 140.. although he says he hasn't really seen anything to say it will do much if you let it go over (within a reasonable amount).
wow, thankyou for all the replies!
I get palpitations on and off too, so its so hard atm to work out what is real, what is normal and if I am indeed going crazy or not :-)
Well, everyones posts here gave me hope, and I did a HPT this morning. Low and behold, I have a BFP!
Faint, but its there and I'm soooo excited!
Congratulations :)
