Nosebleeds?

I have had three nose bleeds today, and a few over the last couple of weeks. Saw the ob today, BP was up a little bit (only 140/80 though), but everything else is ok.

I know that the mucous membranes inthe nose and mouth often swell in pregnancy, especially at the late stages, but should I be concerned?

Has anyone else experienced this?

I wouldn't be to concerned about it. I never get nose bleeds and when I was pg with all 3, I had them really bad in the last 8 weeks of the pg's..

Yeah Kylie, I wouldn't worry either. Luckily I haven't had them this pregnancy but with Charlee I had them all the time.
Just remember to stock up on some tissue in the car, can save a very embarressing situation.;)

Nothing to worry about unless the bleeding is very heavy. It's very common.

Yeah I had the same thing too. Everytime Id have a shower when I was pregnant with Leah Id have a nose bleed (convenient really).

I ahve had a blood nose every few days for the past few weeks too, it is frustrating and they seem to come with little warning. I just make sure I have tissues on me all the time. I think it is happening when I get too hot.
