hydrosalpinx - removal of fallopian tube
hi there
Today i had a scan at day 12 of my second IVF cycle. To my surprise and shock instead of being told when I should expect to trigger they told me to cancel the cycle as I have developed something called hydrosalpinx in my left fallopian tube (something like a toxic fluid sausage is how it was described) which now has to be removed - tube and all.
Has anyone heard of this before? I had no sign of anything during my first IVF cycle in feb/march. I had a major op for endo last November and one the previous April.
Thanks for any advice or help. I really get a lot out of reading your thoughts and experiences and support of others on BB.
