How EMBARRASSING !!!!!!

I am so mortified at what just happened in the staff loos !!!!!

It was time to do my OPK, so I discretely hid the kit in a plastic bag from my handbag and took it into the loos with me. Our staff toilets have two toilets next to each other, a dividing barrier but there is a gap between the wall at the base as is usual for toilets.

Anyway, I carefully set myself up with the (thin, vegetable-holding type of) plastic bag on the floor. I PIAC, one of those little “sample” sized ones included in the Fortel pack, but end up with over half full of pee. Never mind, I think, a good sample to collect from.

I carefully place the cup on the plastic bag (in case of a bit of dribble is on the cup base), then go to pick up my OPK sachet. I THEN accidentally catch a bit of the plastic bag on my fingers as I lift my hand up , and I SPILL the entire contents of wee on the floor. !!!!

In the meantime, another staff member had come to use the loo next to me, and I was suddenly aware of the very wee-like smell (I hadn’t had water for a while so it was rather concentrated!!!) PLUS, to my horror, the floor was graded in such a way that spills would drain toward the drain, situated in the centre of the wall between the two toilets. :wall: So my great wall of wee was rapidly sliding toward the staff member in the other toilet !!!!!! I quickly fumbled for heaps of loo paper to soak it up, thinking, WHY OH WHY did I have to put SO MUCH WEE IN THAT CUP !!! I ONLY NEEDED 3 DROPS !!!!

Thankfully, the other staff member finally leaves the other loo, and I can quickly finish cleaning up.

Ohmigawd. I feel quite exhausted after all that stress !!!!

I started to crack up laughing afterwards, in the loo. I had pee everywhere... on my fingers... on my mobile phone (I use it for the 5 minute timer and it was on the floor !!!!).. probably on my shoes !!!!

Yes ruf I got the order explained wrong, I'd already filled the little eyedropper thing with wee - it was when I went back to the sachet to get the plastic tester thing that I spilled everything.. so at least i still had the wee in the eyedropper!!!

Lol, that is definately the kind of thing I would do. I am the queen of embarrassing scenarios! :cryinglaugh:

That is too funny! Glad you got your sample though! I could just see myself doing that...and chasing the 'wall of pee' with the dropper to get my sample!!! Thanks for the laugh. Hope you get a BFP this time!

deni - so sorry, you must have been absolutely mortified! and im sorry but you wrote it soo well, i burst out laughing! i did opks the same way as saltprincess. i used to worry abt standing up and turning around and testing, cos there is a gap under the cubicle walls and people can see my shadow and shoes and they will know it's me!

My most embarrassing moment was when I was lining up at a check-out with a 96-tampon pack...

For some reason, when I pulled the tampon pack out of the trolley, the lid (which seemed like it was spring-loaded), burst open...and the tampons went EVERYWHERE!!!

On the conveyor belt, under the confectionary/magazine stand, in the trolley and all over the floor...

It was like it was raining tampons!

Very embarrassing!

Prama...I jammed as many as I could back in the box...and just tried to pay and get out of there as soon as possible...

I'm sure they were finding tampons around that check-out for days after!

At least, I *hope* noone knew it was me in the loos. I waited until the coast was well clear before I slunk out of the cubicle!!
