tubal reversal in sydney

Hi Everyone,
What a great site. You ladies all need to be commended on the fantastic advise and support that you all give.
Now, if you all don't mind, I'd like to get some of that for myself. (Please)....
My DH and I have decided to go down the reversal road after I had my tubes tied 7 years ago.
Unfortunately, the main issue for us is the cost, and the lack of information on where to go, what/which doctors to see and talk to and what our options are.
If anyone has any info and/or past experiences to share from sydney in particular, I would love to hear from you.

Hmmmm, lots of things!

This particular forum because of the love & support I get from the members. Everyone is so nice & helpful to each other & it's like one big extended family. Originally it was because it is an Australian based forum, there aren't many most are American.

This part of the forum.... Because I'm TTC our second baby :)

I had my reversal done in New Castle. Come chat to us all in the tubal reversal thread, & all the other girls can help you with one located in sydney. I do know that most IVF clinics do reversals.

Hey Flamaine.....I had my reversal done by doctor cooper 9 months ago. I had the op done at RPA as a private uninsured patient and it cost me $3000 for the doctor $269 for the hospital costs and $650 drugs to put me to sleep. I have now decided to do IVF which i should have done in the first place,it would have only cost me half that amount with the westmead fertility program. Oh well we live and learn. I had my tubal reversal wed just gone up at newcastle cost me all up just under $8 000, dr was great private hospital with own rm, didnt realize actually how painful it would be its like having a c-section. i am wanting to know how long u need to wait prior to having sex and ow slow or quick did it take people to get pregnant after this procedure????
