pains and leaking boobs

well ladys i have 2 and a bit weeks to go and sunday night at about 12am i was woken with pains under my boobs behind my ribs (felt like gall stone attack if anyone has had one) iknow it wasnt gall stones as i had my gall bladder removed 7 years ago.......

anyway the pain was last no longer then 2 mins but was happening every half hour up till 430am then when i woke up at to get DD ready for school i needed to go to the toilet to do number 2 so off i went did that...

after i had finished i walked down to the other end of the house got to my kitchen bench and had to keel over as my tummy went all tight n i got an all mighty pain in my lower part of my tummy that lasted for a minute or two then i was fine... for the rest of the day tummy felt funny n i was gettin lil pains till about 2pm then nothing

had obs app at 3pm and told her all bout it n she said it was just indigestion after i told her i was taking Mylanta and Zantec for all that she said oh maybe you could be havin bowel problems but how would bowel problems course pain under my ribs n boobs ?????????
i felt like she was just shrugging it off
she then told me i would probably go a week over my EDD :(

Then last night i had a crap night sleep again just very uncomfortable and when i woke up n TRIED to get out of bed i got all mighty shot of pain in my tummy :(

and so far today tummy feels very tight and tender feels liek i have a stitch all the time
and my boobies are leaking that much i have to wear breast pads (i dont recall havin to do that before my daughter was born )

could anyone explain anything as my obs clearly didnt want to knwo bout it yesterday :(

im not sure what they can b.
indigestion might be the reason. i know some people get it so bad the go to the ED thinking they are having a heart attack.
The only other pains i had were when i had to poo i had shocking pains in my belly that shot down and it brought me to tears?
perhaps get a 2nd opinion.?

Hmm, all those tightening/Braxton Hicks could be the start of things or at least your body doing some serious practice for birth - its still kind of hard to know. Did your doctor give you an internal examination?

It's common to get loose bowel movements as your body prepares for birth. They shouldn't be terribly painful though (I think they feel a bit similar to gastro though) Did your first baby come early or on time?

The last few weeks just don't go quick enough - I can totally relate! Hopefully, your baby will come sooner than later and you can start feeling better again. Try to make the most of the time you have left (do something special for yourself - or something that is kind of tricky to do with a baby in your arms ... for example I am going to get a haircut and massage).

no my doctor didnt give me an internal she rushed me abit yesterday and it really felt as if she didnt care it was abit disappointing actually :(
As for my DD i went right on my due date with her......
I still have the tightness in my tummy whish i have had all day and still have the stitch like pains and i have been very emotional this afternoon
my younger brother wanted a lift out to my mums so i took him n then we get there and he asked if he could come back to my place as he was already bored at home n i just burst into tears and then when i got home DP gave me a cuddle and i just burst into tears again and he was asking what he had done wrong n i just couldnt explain to him oh and boobs are still leaking!!!!!!

man if only men could be pregnant for one day

Oh Sarah :hug: I don't really know what it is - it certainly sounds like things are starting to happen to me! But I just want to say that sucks that your OB was like that! That would have made me mad!

yeah it does suck about my OB but not alot i can do about that is there... :( it didnt make me so much as mad it just made me feel liek crap on a already crap day......

well pains are still there tummy isnt as tight yet but we'll see how it goes throughout the day...

still very teary today started cryin before i got out of bed and have been cryin ever since (last 2 hours) someone just has to look at me n i cry had a fight with DP this morning coz he just doesnt understand he gets da poos when i ask him to do abit of housework coz he cant understand why i cant do it ALL
i think i have had enough and just want this baby out i never felt like this with my daughter,My preganacy with her was great and this one has been the oppersite so its liek being pregnant for the first time all over again
anyway thats my B*#ch for the day well probably not im sure i will get online later on today and have another one

well tightness in the tummy is still there n tenderness and da stitch like pain..... still been very teary today went and had lunch with a girlfriend n she just looked at me n knew something was wrong n i burst into tears in da middle of her work...... and my boobs r still leaking a fair amount is this normal like i have said before i never had this with my daughter ???????????????

well the stitch like pain seems to have stopped today only really hurts to sit down n if im in a layin postion it hurts to get up tummy is still very tight n tender...
Bubs movements have also seemed to have slowed down a heap...
Woke up this morning with a sore tongue so i went and had a look n its covered in red bumps that were sore to touch so i rang the doc straight away n got in to see him this arvo and as a result to me being on antibotics last week i now have Oral Thrush and man it hurts (i have never had any sort of thrush before) ( i know many of my girlfriends have told me how lucky i am ) so i am now on oral drops to try and clear that up and if its not better by monday i have to go back (more money i have to spend not many doctors buld bill where i live and if they do bulk bill they dont take new patients )and he wants to take a scrapping of my tongue... CAN MY WEEK GET ANY BETTER :(

Hi Sarah, I notice you're in Mildura and wonder if you're seeing the same OB as me... I wasn't very happy the other day when I saw her cos she was rather offhand about some of my concerns. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I've also been seeing the community midwife who is based over at the Dareton Health Centre (and also travels over to Balranald where I am), and she's been GREAT! I'm sure that if you wanted to give her a ring and discuss your concerns she would be happy to talk to you. She's really lovely. (Tell her I sent you!)

it was dr bailey i seen the other day at the ANC (i normally see Professor Pettigrew )if it was who u were seeing maybe she was havin a bad day or week but still she shouldnt be off hand with some of our concerns...... i only have one more visit with them (hopefully have da baby before my next visit) what is the ladys name that you speak to ? i might give her a call and have a chat with her thanks heaps

Sarah - Actually it is Dr Sleeman that I see! I think they're all just flat out really as there's only the 3 of them in town.
The community midwife is Helen Penington. I see her for every second appointment and she's always happy to spend as long as I need to chatting about things. :) Just ring the Dareton Primary Health Centre 5021 7200.

well it still hasnt happened..... :( but the pains are still around braxton hicks are getting to be regular every half hour or so n lasting a min or 2 n i have started to get period like pain in my lower back (which i got the whole way through my labour with my daughter )which started 2 days ago.... also i went to da toilet on monday morning n there seemed to be abit of stringy mucus on my knickers.. what would that be??????? i would know wat a show is as i never had one with my daughter...... i just want this lil bundle of joy out NOW it seems to me he is enjoying teasing his mother LOL surely pains wouldnt be around for over a week with out anything happening :help:

MAN I JUST WANT TO SCREAM.... :wall: Im really getting to the stage where i have had enough.. i have tried DTD even though its very uncomfy ive started on the raspberry leaf tablets n casteroil gone for drives down the back of our block where its bumpy and nothing seems to be working and the pains are still hanging around
I JUST WANT THIS BABY OUT :cry: i have done nothing but cry for the last week can any one suggest anything to get things moving faster PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Oh Sarah :hug: I'm sure it will happen very soon. It sounds like you are trying - just try to get any rest yo can in the meantime as it could be very soon. It sounds like you lost your show yesterday - so that's a great sign. Good luck - I hope your bubba comes soon!
