Help ,how does it all work?

We are relocating to Perth from New Zealand.Currently my 4 year old(well next tuesday he will be) is attending a public kindy in New Zealand.He goes 5days a week in the morning ,two days out of that week he will stay for lunch also.
I am worried sick,i have been told that when we move to Perth he cannot attend kindy till next year because he turns 4 on the 3 july 2007 and when he does he will only go twice a week(i have also been told some places do 4 half days rather then 2 whole days).Is this correct?:rolleyes:
I really would like to find a place in Perth that does the 4half days because he really loves that and is so settled due to attending kindy everyday.

How do i go about finding a kindy that does this? :rolleyes:
I guesss :doh:it wilI depend on the area we live,We are hoping we will be livng in the northern suburbs in Perth.

If anyone can put my mind to rest with any advice i would be so grateful..I'm freaking!:cry:

The ABC Centres do a Kindy program for 4 year olds which you could probably get into. It is pretty much the same as putting them in child care except the 4 year olds have have an accredited kindy program. You pick the days you send them. I don't know if the kindy program runs all day or what. If you know what area of Perth you are moving to, you could look online and see if there is an ABC centre in the area and contact them to see what they have on offer. Just google ABC Learning Centres.

Thanks everyone for the info.We are hoping to live near Clarkson,tapping,kinkross etc round those kinda areas(northern suburbs)Will know more when we get there.
I'm really keen to meet friends so if anyone one wants to keep in touch so i'm not lonely or the kids maybe we can meet up.When we get there. :D

We are not far from them areas. I think all schools do the 2 whole days and not half days i think they changed it in WA a little while ago as they used to do the half days. Not sure how much you would have to pay if you went through a ABC centre i know if you use the childcare part of it you pay over $50 a day.
