35 weeks today......

My bags are packed, I'm all ready, now I just have to wait!

I had an ultrasound a few days ago and baby is growing well, she is now 3kg's (6 1/2 pounds) my last baby was 8 1/2 pounds at 35 weeks, so I'm assuming this one won't be as big, my last baby was 10p 14. but this time I'm on the GD diet and even though the GD isn't under control enough, it's better then if I was off insuline. So I guess we'll see.
I have another sizing ultrasound in a couple of weeks, at 37 weeks, at that time they will book the ceaser and I'll only have a week to go, I'm hanging out to find out the date, then I can organise my kids and all that.
I'm a get tired alot now and I get a bit low at times. but things are going ok. I hope everyone else is doing well :) Take care....:)

May i ask if the extra scans are due to the GD?
I hope your bub isnt as big as ur last.. wow... big bubba!! Also keep in mind scans arent an accurate guess at weight! Also 4 girls... lucky u!!!

Hi, Yep the extra scans are because of the GD, It's annoying having so many, but I have to do what they want I guess, I guess they want to keep track of how big she is getting, if she is getting huge they will do the ceaser earlier then later. I'm not sure how it's all going to pan out yet, but I guess in a few weeks we'll all now :rolleyes: The baby will also have to go on a drip after she is born, her glucose levels will be all out of wack because of the insuline I'm on, she'll be in the neonatal care ward for a couple of days, I'm starting to wonder if all this insuline is really going to help or just cause more problems....

They want to do another scan this week, not next, I don't see the point - but guess I have to....... at least I get to see her again, last scan I saw her toes and foot and I saw her hair!
I can't wait until she's here!!!!

oh, I want another scan! I don't have GD, but was told (at 26wks) that the baby was on the small side... I want to see if the baby is growing right and the cord isn't wrapped around its neck, and basically coz I'm impatient and want another photo of it!
