Hi Michelle,I normally coat the veal in flour, then egg and breadcrumbs and pan fry it .If u like you can also add parmesan cheese to the crumbs to give it a bit of zing. Then serve with some yummy veges. Also if you have any pasta sauce place that on top of the veal once its cooked with grated cheese and pop under the grill until the cheese is melted.Yum I'm hungry just typing about it...
Thanks Pansy.
Are you able to cook them in the oven ?
I guess you could but I've never tried it.It may take longer to cook in the oven and you may have to spray the veal with oil so the crumbs go a nice golden colour.
Yum yum yum - veal is my favourite meat. Veal schnitzel is a fave. You could cook schnitel as you like then top with pasta sauce and cheese - veal parmagiana.
Another is cook the veal, set aside, fry some chopped onion, add some sundried tomato pesto, some white wine, a bit of low fat cream, return veal to pan with some cooked baby potatoes, cook until heated through and serve with some greens - yum yum.

Back, I don't know, 10 years ago... Mum used to order Veal Scallopini with Garlic Sauce from La Porchetta... The garlic sauce was TDF and I am desperate to make it. I can't get onto my mum and need to get dinner on soon.
If I were to just brown some onion, garlic and then add cream and simmer until it reduces, would that work? I was then going to cover the veal and pop in the oven until DF gets home
I know its too late for you now but...
