Nope you are supposedly fertile straight away and if you don't want to fall PG first cycle should take the pill.

Hi leo - i had my implanon out in april. I am still getting my body back to normal cycle. I had the implanon in for 4 years (i had two). And i have been activily trying to conceive since it's removal but hope this month will be the lucky one! The doc told me i would go back to normal (fertility i suppose) straight after. I had a longish period about a week or so after removal and have had quite long cycles since, 35days and each one has decreased a few days.
I read in the natural medicine thread about some herbs to assist in cycles so i have been taking them for about a week and notice the next day a very light coloured blood (even though AF had stopped the day before and that was not normal for me to continue after three short days of AF) so am hoping it will even the cycle length out. Good luck!

Hi - I had my implanon out on December 8 and conceived on (about) December 25! When I went to the doc to have the pregnancy confirmed, he said that he had encountered a lot of women who conceive quickly after having Implanon out.

I wondered if Implanon had primed my hormones for pregnancy as it took longer to get preg with my first two bubs
