Low Kicks
Hi all,
I am 24 weeks pg and baby is very active (I'm loving every minute of it :) )! This is my first baby so I'm not too sure of the norm.
Most evenings baby kicks me in my groin area. Sometimes I feel it at the front and sometimes it feels as if its kicking into my back. I was worried baby may have been sitting too low? I have had several scans and everything has been fine so far. Knowing me I am stressing for no reason.
Its not as if this is the only place it kicks, I feel baby move into differnet positions and I get kicked all over ,.... Even starting to go up into my ribs!
Has anyone else experienced this before? Just thought I'd ask to be on the safe side!
Thanks

I am fairly sure it would be nothing to worry about, and at 24 weeks there is still lots of room for the baby to move around... it is exciting feeling all the mvts etc isnt it - enjoy!!

Thanks Pregpan! It's hard to work out what is normal and what I need to worry about!!!

Yep, this is baby #2 for me and she feels like she is kicking her way out sometimes. My first baby sat high into my ribs, this one feels like I need to have a belt on to hold her in. Dont panic, every baby/preg is different.

Congrats on your first baby! This is my first baby too. When I was about that far along, it felt like the baby was trying to stand in that area to get out! Its pretty normal and where they kick when they get further along changes and can get more uncomfy.
Have fun!

I agree with all comments - don't you just love when they kick the cervix? Very weird sensation and I have to wriggle around a bit to get it to stop. Mine kicks low alot but I think that is mainly because I have an anterior placenta and therefore don't feel the higher up kicks unless they are really hard. Mostly I feel them on either side of my tummy though so I think bubs mainly lies sideways.
Don't stress though, it is all perfectly normal!
