a bit worried
Hi everyone,
I have a question about pregnancy symptoms. I have been quite stressed out through all this pregnancy because all the wind and cramping I have been having.
I have been finding it hard to work out which are good, and which are not so good.
I have also had on and off days of symptoms. I found that the last time I was feeling sick was on friday. Any food smelled horrible, that was good, but since that day I havent had that feeling again. I have only had wind ,mood swings and funny looking nipples.(sorry for that detail)
I am just horribly scaired since I miscarried 5 months ago. I did have a ultrasound at 8 weeks and found a heart beat, but since I have cramping all my confidance goes out the window again. Plus I alway look to symptoms to make me feel better but they are not consistant.
I have an ultrasound at 12 weeks and dont know if I am more afraid of.
With my 3 year old I didnt even know I was pregnant with her till I was 11 weeks, but when we had a scan they said she might be downsyndrome. All was ok in the end after they did an amino, but that also makes the 12 week scan very worring.
I sorry I sound like such a drama queen, but since I had the miscarrage its put the fear in me.
PLEASE HELP ME WITH HAPPY THOUGHTS

I can understand that you would be worried but it seems to me like everything is normal. How long till your 12 week scan? I had cramps with my first pregnancy and wind also but no other symptoms of pregnancy at all and I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones I would hate to have ms. I think if you are concerned see your dr or ob as my ob always let me come in to put my mind at ease.
I know it is hard and I know next time I get pregnant I will be stressing to hoping that I wont miscarry again but you need to relax even just a little.
Good luck and enjoy that precious bundle you are carrying!

Oh you poor mummy, you have every right to be worried and its not unnecessary drama at all. I have found the first and some of the second trimester of both preg to be stressful too. My first I had no wind but this one, Woh! The cramps were awful. What I found is that it didn’t matter what type of food I ate, quantity or even quality they all gave me gas. I spent hours on the loo thinking the same as you, having thoughts that I maybe loosing this one the pains were just THAT bad. But here I am at 6+months and going strong. I have put behind me all those woes and am now just focusing on the finish line. Don’t worry too much just yet; your scan will make it all better. If it gets too much for you, go to your Dr and have them listen for the heart beat just to settle your nerves a little ok. My gas finally went away around the 4 month mark so hang in there it wont be long.
Big Hugs

Hi, Thanks for you understanding. I have an ultrasound in 3 weeks, and its feels like its taking forever. It takes such a long time to get an ultrasound, the soonest is actually 3 weeks. Unless you go through casuality.
The wind cramps are slowing down now, and I seem to get all my pregnancy symptoms in waves, from heavy to taper off to light .
I still get cramps though, but I just prey they are just normal ones. You will have them one day but not the next.
9.5 weeks and counting till week 12.
Thanks a good carma to all
