hello i was just wondering if anyone else had been told they had high blood pressure early on. As this is my 5th baby I have never had hbp at any time with my others even with my waters broken at 22w with my last and trying to sell & buy a house with my 2nd but this time at 6w I was told it was 135/80 which came as a shock for me

hi, i wouldn't imagine a one time episode of a higher blood pressure would be a problem, it would be a problem if it was sustained or kept climbing. Do you know what your normal blood pressure is, not pregnant? Maybe that blood pressure is normal for you? My BP was 130/80 early in my pregnancy, there was no concern. Good luck.
I had mine taken the other day and it was 170/85
I am normally around 110/70 or around that.. which for me is normal, but for others that might be low.

thanks for getting back to me . I know that all pregs are different it just seem funny that I had hbp after never having it b4 and I just wondered if any1 else had had that.
My bp is normal around 120/60, I checked mine a few days later after the doc did then again this week and it was still around 130/84 I thought I might have been doing it wrong as I'm only a 1st year student so I asked my friend to check as she is a 3rd year she said it was 135/88 I'm just surprised by it. Again thank you for replying I have a doc visit on tues I ask him about it

I went to the doc's today and he said my bp was still up a bit and we would wait and see at next vist. He gave me the results back for a scan I have at 6w which showed I have a few days behind my dates but also he said my uterus was bulky? does anyone know what this mean as I have not heard it before thanks :)
