Has anyone laboured (VBAC#2) with degenerative disc disease?

hi I have had two c-sections for macrosomia and pre-eclampsia complications and was considering a VBAC this pregnancy but my physio has advised against it as I have complete disc collapse in my lower back due to DDD.
I am just wonder if anyone has any experience with labour and DDD......with the added complication of VBAC#2
