Can't wear bra?
Is anyone experiencing this?
I am having real trouble wearing a bra or anything tight around my sternum! It makes me feel sick and I feel like it gives me a bit of reflux!
Is anyone else getting this and have any solutions apart from not wearing a bra!?

I only have the problem that by BBS are popping out of my bra, need to be going up a size I think! Maybe try a crop top/sports bra for a while?

I have had back pain/shoulder pain with both this pg and last. Last time round the only thing that stopped my 2-3 physio visit a week 'habit' for relief was to stop wearing bras and wear stretchy singlet tops instead.
Fortunately I'm only a b-c cup so I didn't need a lot of support so I could get away with wearing the singlet. It made all the difference and I literally stopped going to physio as soon as I stopped wearing a bra.
This time round I could feel the pain fairly early so stopped wearing a bra but still get shoulder pain. So depending whether I feel the need for support (I think I'm a bit bigger this time round) I migh wear a bra 2/3 times a week and cope with a stretch singlet top inbetween.
I hope you can find something to manage your discomfort.

Hi there!!
Thanks for the advice... its not that i'm uncomfortable as such.... my boobs haven't gotten that much bigger compared with my first pregnancy...
Its just having something tight around that area makes me feel sick, haven't been able to eat much this pregnancy either... get full very quickly!! Maybe a reflux thing, I don't know!

i got this too, v sore ribs when i sat down for long time in certain bras (this was early on)... I found a swap of bras to maternity bras helped a lot - get a good fitting donw. I havent grown much (1 cup size so far) but the chg in design helped me a lot - even now I know diff bras give me more or less pain...
Also an underwire will def hurt you more (and I think they are not recommended in preg anyway).
Good luck with your preg!

Hi,
I started having difficulty with my normal bras from about 9 weeks (they all had underwires).
I bought the new Bonds maternity bras - they are extremely comfortable and have a good length of hooks at the back (double normal bras) so you can make it the right comfort level for you.
Not sure if this will still be too tight for you, but I have found them to be great.
Good luck.
